Hailing from Texas and calling Colorado home for the past several years, recording and multi-instrumentalist artist, Tyler T., is a unique singer/songwriter with a fresh and world-oriented sound. With a foundation in roots music, Tyler T. evolves through the one-man-band experience, blending the genres of psychedelic, acoustic, folk, and groove rock to feature instruments from around the world while showcasing his signature vocals. Using a honed looping and phrase sampling technique, Tyler T. offers a bold and catchy sound. He has traveled the country, sharing his love of music, while continuing to focus on reaching more people, including abroad. Logging thousands of miles on the road, Tyler T. is a man well-traveled and one whose journey is rife with sound, connection, and warmth.
Earthy, tribal, at times upbeat and always colorful, the Tyler T. show experience as well as his 2011 album, “A World to Wander,” take the listener on a wild adventure, one that is organic, peppered with interesting sounds, and a solid blending of old-meets-new as he forms his own style of capturing the environment around him and bringing it to light through intricate melodies and poeticism.
Tyler T.’s band, The Common Clay, provide backing and depth on recordings and in live performances and features original material accompanied by marimba, pedal steel guitar, bass and drums, filling in the roots sound even more deeply. Fresh, bright, full of imagery, and ever-changing, the music of Tyler T. is the map to an adventure-filled musical journey, rich with memorable sound.

Canyon Collected is an original Colorado grass band whiskey bent on blurring genre lines and creating new music rooted in an all-American cross country experience. Each member features their unique style in their playing & song-writing influenced by a multitude of genres, artists, places and time. They write love songs, drinking tunes, pop hits, murder ballads, they like to take time and improv a jam, take chances and push their limits. They play a heavy dose of original music, the occasional obscure cover song, and tunes any crowd will enjoy.
The band is hoping for another big year in 2017 with a new music video for their song Bags, a live album release, and another months-long cross country tour.
Canyon Collected released their second full length album ‘In The Woods’ in 2016 and covered a lot of miles between Colorado, Oregon, Montana, Chicago, Vermont, and everywhere in between.
Canyon Collected has played many stages, street corners, dive bars, radio stations, and festivals since first going on tour in fall 2013. They have headlined popular venues like Cervantes Other Side in Denver, The Belly Up in Aspen, and Hodi’s Half Note in Fort Collins. Canyon Collected co-hosts Treasure Fest in Petersburg, KY and has played two years in a row at The Frendly Gathering in Windham, VT. They were also featured at MelonFest in Grayson, KY and Vigil Stock in Lafayette, IN for the third year in a row. In 2014 They played the Starwater Stage at the Arise Music festival in Loveland, CO, and the late night stage at the Recipe Family Cookout near Columbus, OH.

The Listening Room Phoenix is centrally located in midtown Phoenix AZ and is open to audiences who appreciate great acoustic music. Although most performances are free, participating audiences are encouraged to make at least a $20 donation to the artist. This will go a very long way in keeping each artist on their path to success and keeping The Listening Room a healthy destination for great music in Phoenix. Audiences are participating in a live video recording of the performance. Your entrance to The Listening Room Phoenix is consent to be photographed and filmed.
The Listening Room Phoenix shares its home with Mazvo Auto Car Care Center and The Flying Pigeon food truck on 7th Street south of Camelback Rd., tucked away from the street and on the ground floor of the offices of Element Studios West at 4614 N 7th Street, Phoenix 85014. Parking available on E. Meadowbrook Road, only steps from The Listening Room.
