RAMSEY ROBERSON DYLAN/NEIL YOUNG TRIBUTE
PRIVATE PERFORMANCE BENEFITTING A STEPPING STONE FOUNDATION
WEDNESDAY, MAY 29 @ 7PM
BY INVITATION ONLY
A benefit performance in support of A Stepping Stone Foundation.
Providing stepping stones to create success through education for children and families who have limited opportunities.
We provide a tuition free, high quality, developmentally appropriate preschool program. It is comprehensive and creates success for children at risk of school failure due to literacy issues.
We ensure family success by requiring the parents to attend: tuition free adult education classes, parental classroom participation and parenting classes. Further supports include home visiting and tuition free child care and enrichment for the younger siblings of our preschool students.
We further ensure success by: providing our preschool children with meals in partnership with the hosting school district, partnering our preschool program with colleges and local organizations to assist family literacy by providing adult education, and reaching as many preschool children as possible through blended funding streams.
We reward and continue to promote family literacy by providing post-secondary education opportunities to our former preschoolers who are now high school graduates, by enabling access to college through our college scholarship fund.
A two-time champion of the Phoenix Blues Society’s Blues Showdown, Eric was a semi-finalist at the 2017 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. He won the Stefan George Memorial (Tucson Folk Festival) Songwriting Competition, and has been tapped for the prestigious Songwriter’s Showcase produced by Tempe Center for the Arts, filmed for PBS distribution. He’s a regularly a featured performer at the Prescott Center for the Arts, and has headlined shows at the Highlands Center and the Flagstaff Folk Project in Arizona.
With soaring vocals and organic arrangements, Eric writes from experience about the human condition – at times sensitive, at times humorous, always thought-provoking. His arrangements and delivery encompass a spectrum of styles, from delicate fingerpicking to raucous, bluesy bottleneck slide.
“It’s A Rough World Baby” is his third release, following the acclaimed “Up We Go” in 2016 and 2014’s debut “Wills And Won’ts.”
His live performances are captivating, entertaining and accessible, and he’s a favorite on the Blues and Folk Festival circuits not only for his dynamic performances but for his workshops on slide guitar techniques and tricks.
He lives in the Phoenix area with his long-suffering and patient wife, three kids, four (yes, four, to date) dogs of indeterminate pedigree, and can often be found in the garage, where his family prefer he practice….

Robby sings original musical stories steeped in reality and imagination, happiness and sorrow – delivered through the musical strings of multiple instruments, played skillfully and passionately. Robby’s songwriting and his vocal style is evocative of an organic urban acoustic music vibe that is enhanced by diverse and dynamic rhythms and grooves. He uses the instrumentation as an equal, interconnected partner of his songs and not just for melodic accompaniment. His songwriting has been noticed across the valley and state, for example, he is a winner of the Songwriter Contest at the Tucson Folk Festival and his band was a finalist in the band contest at the Pickin’ in the Pines Music Festival. He has also performed at the Tempe Center for the Arts Songwriters Showcases III and VII. Robby’s musical versatility makes it possible for him to be a solo act or to include other talented musician friends in a duo, trio or quartet setting.
Robby lives in Tempe, Arizona, and performs regularly at various venues, both large and intimate throughout Arizona.
